The study of language and literature has undergone significant development in recent decades, particularly with the emergence of multidisciplinary approaches that broaden the analytical scope of linguistic and literary phenomena. This approach stems from the realization that language and
literature do not stand alone as autonomous entities, but rather interact complexly with various social, cultural, psychological, political, and even technological dimensions. Traditional monodisciplinary approaches, such as pure structuralism or formalism, are considered inadequate to
explain the complex dynamics emerging in contemporary linguistic practices and literary works. Therefore, researchers and critics are increasingly using cross disciplinary theories, such as sociolinguistics, literary anthropology, cognitive psychology, and digital cultural studies, to understand the meaning and function of language and literature in a broader context (Mulyono,
2021).
